Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference. The PL-220 is designed for laminating documents up to letter/legal size, offering robust performance for various office and personal needs.
2. Cyfarwyddiadau Diogelwch

The Zebra PL-220 is a durable, all-metal thermal laminator featuring a 23 cm (9 inch) entry width, suitable for letter and legal size documents. It utilizes a 4-roller system for smooth, bubble-free lamination.

- POWER Indicator (Red): Yn goleuo pan fydd y peiriant ymlaen.
- READY Indicator (Green): Illuminates when the machine has reached the selected operating temperature.
- TEMP °C Dial: Used to select the desired lamination temperature (80°C to 180°C).
- HOT/COLD Switch: Selects between thermal (hot) and pressure-sensitive (cold) lamination modes.
- FORWARD/REVERSE Switch: Controls the direction of the rollers. Use REVERSE to clear jams.
- Newid ON / OFF: Powers the laminator on or off.
4. Gosod
- Dadbacio: Carefully remove the laminator from its packaging.
- Lleoliad: Place the laminator on a stable, flat surface with adequate space around it for proper ventilation and document feeding/exiting.

5. Cyfarwyddiadau Gweithredu
5.1 Thermal Lamination (Hot)
- Pŵer Ymlaen: Flip the ON/OFF switch to 'ON'. The red POWER indicator will light up.
- Dewis Modd: Set the HOT/COLD switch to 'HOT'.
- Tymheredd Gosod: Rotate the TEMP °C dial to the appropriate temperature for your laminating pouch thickness. Refer to the table below for recommended settings.
- Cynheswch: Allow 2 to 3 minutes for the machine to preheat. The green READY indicator will light up when the selected temperature is reached.
- Paratoi Dogfen: Place your document inside a laminating pouch, ensuring it is centered and there is an even border around the document.
- Laminiad: Insert the sealed edge of the laminating pouch squarely into the entry slot. The machine will automatically feed the pouch through. Do not pull or push the pouch.
- Oeri i lawr: Once the pouch exits the machine, place it on a flat surface to cool and harden.
- Pwer i ffwrdd: After use, turn the ON/OFF switch to 'OFF' and unplug the machine.
5.2 Recommended Temperature Settings
The optimal temperature depends on the thickness of your laminating pouch. Using a carrier is recommended for thinner pouches or delicate documents to prevent adhesive bleed and ensure smooth feeding.

5.3 Lamineiddio Oer
For heat-sensitive documents or self-adhesive pouches, use the cold lamination setting.
- Pŵer Ymlaen: Flip the ON/OFF switch to 'ON'.
- Dewis Modd: Set the HOT/COLD switch to 'COLD'.
- Paratoi Dogfen: Place your document inside a cold laminating pouch.
- Laminiad: Insert the sealed edge of the pouch squarely into the entry slot. The machine will feed it through using pressure.

5.4 Swyddogaeth Gwrthdroi
If a laminating pouch is misfed or begins to jam, immediately flip the FORWARD/REVERSE switch to 'REVERSE' to eject the pouch. Once the pouch is clear, return the switch to 'FORWARD' or 'OFF'.

- Glanhau: Ensure the laminator is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp gellir defnyddio brethyn, ac yna sychu.
