4.1 Model Differentiation

The ET34S and ET34SPRO models offer different functionalities. The ET34SPRO includes additional features for fiber optic network maintenance.

5. Gosod

5.1 Codi Tâl ar y Dyfais

The device comes with a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable lithium battery. To charge, connect the provided USB Charging Cable to the device and a 5V/2A/10W or higher USB power adapter (charger not included). The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status.

5.2 Pŵer Ymlaen/Diffodd

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the device on or off. The device supports an auto power-off function to conserve battery life.

The device supports multiple languages. To change the language:

  1. Navigate to the 'Setup' menu using the navigation buttons.
  2. Select 'Language' from the options.
  3. Choose your desired language (Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish) and confirm.

6.1.2 Ffotograffiaeth Macro

Attach the magnetic macro lens for detailed inspection of small components, such as those on PCB circuits. This allows for clear viewing of details as small as 1mm x 1mm.

6.1.3 Storio Delwedd

6.3 Optical Power Meter (ET34SPRO Only)

The ET34SPRO model includes an optical power meter with a measurable range of -70 to +6dBm, supporting various wavelengths and adapter types (ST/SC/FC).

6.4 Visual Fault Locator (VFL) (ET34SPRO Only)

The ET34SPRO also features a 10mW Visual Fault Locator with an approximate range of 10km. It offers three modes: Slow flash, Fast flash, and Always on, to help identify breaks or bends in fiber optic cables.

Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution if necessary, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the low battery indicator appears. If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is charged to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.

Store the device in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it out of reach of children.
