Gwybodaeth Diogelwch
Always adhere to safety precautions when using any electrical testing equipment. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the meter or equipment under test.
- Peidiwch apply more than the rated voltage, as specified in the specifications section, between terminals or between any terminal and earth ground.
- Peidiwch use the meter if it is damaged or operating abnormally. Inspect the case and test leads before use.
- Peidiwch use the meter around explosive gas, vapor, or in damp neu amgylcheddau gwlyb.
- Always use the correct terminals, function, and range for your measurements.
- Be cautious when working with voltaguwchlaw 30V AC RMS, 42V brig, neu 60V DC. Mae'r cyfrolau hyntages yn peri perygl sioc.
- Datgysylltu pŵer cylched a gollwng pob cyfaint ucheltage cynwysorau cyn profi gwrthiant, parhad, deuodau, neu gynhwysedd.
- Ensure the test leads are fully seated in the meter's input jacks.
- Amnewidiwch y batri ar unwaith pan fydd y dangosydd batri isel yn ymddangos i sicrhau darlleniadau cywir.

Gosod
Gosod Batri
The Fluke 107 comes with two AAA batteries pre-installed. If replacement is needed:
- Gwnewch yn siŵr bod y multimedr wedi'i ddiffodd.
- Lleolwch yr adran batri ar gefn y mesurydd.
- Open the battery compartment cover by twisting the lock and sliding it open.
- Remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Caewch y clawr adran batri yn ddiogel.
Cysylltu Arweinwyr Prawf
The Fluke 107 has three recessed banana jacks:
- A: For current measurements (up to 10A).
- COM: Common terminal for all measurements (black test lead).
- VΩHzAr gyfer cyfroltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and diode tests (red test lead).
Always connect the black test lead to the COM jack. Connect the red test lead to the appropriate jack based on the measurement you intend to perform.
Using the Smart Strap Magnetic Lanyard
The included Smart Strap allows for hands-free operation by attaching the meter to a ferrous metal surface or by configuring it as a stand. The strap has a slot that fits into the meter's case and secures with Velcro. The magnetic end can then be used to attach the meter to metal surfaces or to itself to form a viewing stand.
Cyfarwyddiadau Gweithredu
Rheolaethau Drosview
The Fluke 107 features a central rotary selector knob and three soft-touch buttons:
- Knob Dewisydd Rotari: Used to select the desired measurement function (OFF, AC Volts, DC Volts, AC mV, Ohms/Continuity/Diode, Capacitance, AC/DC Amps).
- Botwm AUR: Freezes the current reading on the display. Press again to resume live readings.
- Hz % Button: Toggles between frequency (Hz) and duty cycle (%) display when measuring AC Volts or AC Amps.
- Yellow Function Button:
- In AC/DC Amps mode: Toggles between AC and DC current measurement.
- In Ohms mode: Toggles between resistance, continuity test, and diode test.
- Botwm Golau Cefn: Activates or deactivates the display backlight. The backlight automatically turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity, but this can be overridden.

Swyddogaethau Mesur
The meter is auto-ranging by default for most functions, simplifying operation.
- CyftagMesuriad e (AC/DC):
- Trowch y bwlyn cylchdro i V~ ar gyfer AC cyftage neu V- ar gyfer DC cyftage.
- Connect the red test lead to the VΩHz jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- Apply the test probes across the circuit or component to measure voltage.
- Current Measurement (AC/DC):
- Trowch y bwlyn cylchdro i A~ (AC) or A- (DC). Use the yellow button to toggle between AC and DC if needed.
- Connect the red test lead to the A (10A FUSED) jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- Pwysig: Connect the meter in series with the circuit to measure current. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the meter.
- Mesur Gwrthiant (Ω):
- Trowch y bwlyn cylchdro i Ω.
- Connect the red test lead to the VΩHz jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- Apply the test probes across the component. Ensure the circuit is de-energized.
- Prawf Parhad:
- Trowch y bwlyn cylchdro i Ω. Press the yellow button until the continuity icon (speaker symbol) appears.
- Connect the red test lead to the VΩHz jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- A continuous beep indicates a complete circuit (resistance less than 70Ω). "OL" indicates an open circuit.
- Prawf Deuod:
- Trowch y bwlyn cylchdro i Ω. Press the yellow button until the diode icon (arrow with line) appears.
- Connect the red test lead to the VΩHz jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- Place the red probe on the anode and black probe on the cathode of the diode. The display shows the forward voltage drop. Reverse the probes; "OL" should be displayed for a good diode.
- Mesur Cynhwysedd:
- Turn the rotary knob to the capacitance symbol (-||-).
- Connect the red test lead to the VΩHz jack and the black test lead to the COM jack.
- Pwysig: Discharge capacitors before connecting them to the meter. Apply probes across the capacitor. Readings may take up to 18 seconds to stabilize.
- Frequency (Hz) and Duty Cycle (%) Measurement:
- Select AC Volts or AC Amps swyddogaeth.
- Gwasgwch y Hz % button to display frequency. Press again for duty cycle. Press a third time to return to voltage/current display.
Auto Power-Off
The meter automatically powers off after 20 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. This feature can be disabled if continuous operation is required.
Cynnal a chadw
Glanhau
Sychwch yr achos gyda hysbysebamp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Keep the display clean and free from scratches.
Amnewid Batri
Refer to the "Battery Installation" section under Setup for detailed instructions. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
Fuse Check and Replacement
The Fluke 107 has a single internal fuse for the Amps function. To check the fuse:
- Trowch y switsh dewisydd i'r Ω sefyllfa.
- Plug the red test lead into the VΩHz jack.
- Insert the probe tip of the red test lead into the A (10A FUSED) jack until electrical contact is made.
- A reading of less than 0.5Ω indicates a good fuse. An "OL" reading indicates a blown fuse that requires replacement.
Fuse replacement requires opening the meter case by removing three screws. It is recommended that fuse replacement be performed by qualified personnel or a Fluke service center.
