  1. Cysylltiad Pwer: Connect the included 9V 1A power adapter to the DC IN jack on the pedal and then to a standard electrical outlet.

  4. Lleoliad: Position the pedal on a stable surface or your pedalboard. Ensure the rubber feet provide adequate grip.

Cyfarwyddiadau Gweithredu

The STRICH SW-2 offers both Wah and Volume modes, along with two bypass options. The pedal is activated by pressing down on the toe end of the treadle until you feel a click.

  • Use the small toggle switch located on the side of the pedal to select between WAH, VOL, or BYPASS modes.
  • When the toggle switch is in the WAH position, the pedal functions as a wah effect.
  • When the toggle switch is in the VOL position, the pedal functions as a volume control.
  • When the toggle switch is in the BYPASS position, the pedal is in true bypass mode, allowing the signal to pass through unaffected.

Engaging/Disengaging Effects:

To engage or disengage the Wah or Volume effect, press the toe end of the pedal treadle firmly until you hear or feel a click. An indicator light will illuminate when the effect is active (Wah mode) or off (Volume mode, depending on the selector level position).

Familiarize yourself with the various controls on the STRICH SW-2 pedal to achieve your desired sound.

  • WAH./VOL./BYPASS Toggle Switch: This three-position switch selects the primary function of the pedal.
    • WAH: Activates the wah effect.
    • VOL: Activates the volume control.
    • FFEITHIO: Engages true bypass, removing the pedal from the signal chain.
  • MIN VOL Knob: (Active in Volume mode) This knob sets the minimum volume level when the pedal treadle is in the heel-down position. Adjusting this allows for dynamic volume swells from a silent cut-off to a set minimum level.

  • QUALITY Knob: (Active in Wah mode) This control adjusts the resonance and intensity of the wah effect. Turning it clockwise increases the "Q" factor, making the wah sound sharper and more pronounced.

  • Bwlch RANGE: (Active in Wah mode) This knob selects one of six different center frequency ranges for the wah effect. Each setting provides a distinct tonal character, from deep "wa" to sharp "wu" sounds.

  • Treadle (Pedal): The main foot-operated part of the pedal.
    • Wah Mode: Moving the treadle from heel-down to toe-down sweeps the wah filter across the selected frequency range.
    • Modd Cyfrol: Moving the treadle from heel-down to toe-down increases the volume from the minimum set by the MIN VOL knob to maximum.
  • Footswitch (under treadle): Engages or disengages the selected effect (Wah or Volume). Press firmly on the toe end of the treadle to activate.

  • Glanhau: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish.
  • Storio: Store the pedal in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Disconnect power when not in use for extended periods.
