Its plug-and-play design allows for easy installation in any standard electrical outlet, making it suitable for various indoor settings.

3. Gosod a Gosod
- Dad-bocsio: Carefully remove the Protmex PTH-24D detector from its packaging.
- Plug Selection (if applicable): The device features a replaceable plug. Ensure the correct plug type for your region (100-220V, 50/60Hz) is securely attached. To change the plug, press the quick-release button and rotate to unlock.
- Lleoliad: Select a suitable location for the detector. It is recommended to place the detector in areas where carbon monoxide may accumulate, such as near fuel-burning appliances (furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces), in bedrooms, living areas, or in RVs. Avoid placing it directly above heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity or airflow that could affect readings.
- Pŵer Ymlaen: Plug the detector directly into a standard electrical outlet (100-220V). The device will power on automatically and begin its calibration sequence.
- Graddnodi Cychwynnol: Upon first power-up or after a reset, the device will calibrate itself. This may take a few minutes. During this time, the display may show varying readings before settling to stable environmental values.

The HD 2.0-inch IPS display shows the following information:
- CO PPM: Real-time Carbon Monoxide concentration in parts per million (PPM).

- Eiconau Rhybudd: Visual indicators for CO levels (Green: Safe, Yellow: Warning, Orange: Exceeded, Red: Alarm).
4.2 Swyddogaethau Botwm
The device features three control buttons on the front panel:
- "U" Button:
- Short Press: Initiates a self-test.
- Long Press: Toggles temperature unit between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).
- Buzzer Button (Bell Icon):
- Short Press: Toggles alarm sound On/Off.
- Long Press: Flips the screen display 180 degrees for inverted outlets.
- Screen Brightness Button (Light Bulb Icon):
- Short Press: Adjusts screen brightness levels.

4.3 Ymarferoldeb Larwm
The detector is equipped with an upgraded alarm function:
- When CO concentration exceeds 50 PPM, the screen will display a yellow icon warning.
- The device will emit an audible alarm sound of more than 85dB.
- The breathing light will flash to provide a visual alert.
- The device continuously monitors CO levels for 24 hours, even if the screen or breathing light is turned off to save energy (when CO levels are below 150 PPM).
