The wireless controller needs to be connected to your motherboard. It features a USB 2.0 9-pin header for data transmission (especially for the LCD display) and a PWM header for power. If your motherboard lacks sufficient USB 2.0 headers, you can connect the controller directly to a USB port on the back of your motherboard or the front panel of your chassis.

For the TL LCD Wireless version, two cables run out from the fan module: one for USB 2.0 (signal for the screen) and one PWM (dedicated for power). The controller supports up to 10 device groups, including various Lian Li wireless products.

4.2 Fan Module Connection

The fans feature a daisy-chain design, allowing multiple fans to connect directly to each other, significantly reducing cable clutter. The receiver/controller for the fans plugs directly into the side of the fan module. For the TL LCD Wireless version, the cable from the fan module connects to the controller, which then connects to the motherboard. The cable length can be managed by wrapping it around the connector cover.

Gain complete control over your fans using the L-Connect 3 software. This software allows you to customize fan settings, RGB presets, and LCD content. It automatically recognizes wireless devices for binding with the controller. Simply click the link icon in the software to bind devices; it will turn blue when successful. You can also bind all recognized devices at once.

5.2 LCD Display Customization

The 1.6-inch circular LCD screen on each fan can display various information and custom visuals. It supports MP4, GIF, JPG, and PNG formats, allowing for personalized displays. For clusters of 3 LCD fans, multiple data points can be displayed simultaneously, such as CPU temperature, GPU temperature, and fan RPM.
