This unit is designed to expand your existing Simyke BME28 or BMS28 series baby monitor system, allowing you to view your baby from multiple locations or replace a lost/damaged parent unit. It features a high-quality IPS screen for clear visuals and a long-lasting battery for extended use. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and safety.

Display Unit Components

  • IPS Screen: High-resolution display for clear video feed.
  • Botymau Llywio: Up, Down, Left, Right, OK for menu navigation.

1. Charging the Display Unit

Before first use, fully charge the display unit. Connect the provided power adapter to the charging port on the side of the display unit and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours.

2. Pairing with a Camera Unit

This display unit is an add-on and must be paired with a compatible Simyke BME28 or BMS28 series camera unit. If your camera is already paired with another display, you can add this new display. Refer to your original camera unit's manual for specific pairing instructions. Generally, the steps involve:

  1. Turn on both the display unit and the camera unit.
  2. Access the 'Camera Pairing' or 'Add Camera' option in the display unit's menu.
  3. Press the pairing button on the camera unit (location varies by model, usually on the back or bottom).
  4. The display unit will search for and connect to the camera. Once connected, the camera's video feed will appear on the screen.

  • Sain Dwyffordd: Press and hold the Microphone button (🎤) to speak through the camera unit to your baby. Release the button to hear your baby.
  • VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange): This mode conserves battery by turning off the screen when no sound is detected from the baby's room. The screen will automatically light up when sound is detected. Enable/disable VOX mode in the 'Settings' menu.
  • Monitro Tymheredd: The display unit shows the real-time temperature of the baby's room, as detected by the camera unit. Set temperature alerts in the 'Settings' menu.
  • Aml-gamera View: If you have multiple cameras paired, you can switch between camera views or enable a scan mode to cycle through them automatically. This feature supports up to 4 cameras.
  • Gweledigaeth Nos Isgoch: The camera unit automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear black-and-white image on the display unit.
