This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Schlage FB50 N G PLY 622 Single Cylinder Deadbolt and Keyed Entry Plymouth Knob. This combo pack includes a single cylinder deadbolt and a keyed knob/lever. The deadbolt locks and unlocks from the exterior with a key and from the interior with a thumbturn. The knob/lever features a locking, keyed function. This product is constructed with premium materials and certified to high industry standards, ensuring durability and security for your home.
Gosod a Gosod
The Schlage FB50 N G PLY 622 is designed for easy installation, typically requiring only a screwdriver and a few minutes. It is suitable for both right and left-handed doors and fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". The universal latch is adjustable for 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backsets.
Camau Gosod Allweddol:
- Paratowch y Drws: Ensure your door has the correct bore holes for a deadbolt and knob. The universal latch is designed to fit common backset dimensions.
- Gosod y Latch: Insert the universal latch into the door edge. Self-aligning screw holes simplify this step.
- Assemble the Deadbolt: Attach the exterior and interior components of the deadbolt, securing them with the provided screws.
- Install the Knob/Lever: Assemble the keyed entry knob/lever, ensuring the spindle engages correctly with the latch mechanism.
- Gosod Platiau Streic: Secure the strike plates for both the deadbolt and the knob/lever on the door frame. An integrated strike reinforcer with 3" screws is included for enhanced security against kick-in attacks.

The Schlage FB50 N G PLY 622 offers secure and convenient operation for your exterior doors.
Gweithrediad Bolt Marw:
- I Gloi o'r Tu Allan: Insert the key into the deadbolt cylinder and turn it to extend the bolt. Remove the key.
- I Ddatgloi o'r Tu Allan: Insert the key into the deadbolt cylinder and turn it to retract the bolt.
- To Lock/Unlock from Interior: Use the thumbturn on the interior side of the deadbolt to extend or retract the bolt.
Keyed Entry Knob Operation:
- I Gloi o'r Tu Allan: Use the key to lock the knob.
- I Ddatgloi o'r Tu Allan: Use the key to unlock the knob.
- I Ddatgloi o'r Tu Mewn: The lower handle unlocks from the inside when turned, allowing for quick exit.

To ensure the longevity and smooth operation of your Schlage lock set, regular maintenance is recommended:

- Key Difficult to Insert/Turn: Ensure the key is fully inserted and is the correct key for the lock. Lubrication may also help. Avoid forcing the key.
- Latch Not Engaging: Check if the strike plate on the door frame is properly aligned with the latch bolt. Adjust if necessary. Ensure the door closes completely without obstruction.
- Cydrannau Rhydd: Tighten any visible screws on the interior or exterior trim of the lock set.
