- Batch Feed Operation: The disposal operates only when the cover is in place. Never insert hands or other objects into the grind chamber.

The InSinkErator Evolution Cover Control is designed for easy installation with its EZ Connect features. This model is intended for hardwire connection.

4.2. EZ Connect Hardwire Installation
This disposal comes with an EZ Connect Hardwire Adaptor for simplified hardwire connections. Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
Video 1: Demonstrates the EZ Connect Hardwire Adapter installation for InSinkErator disposals. The video shows how to connect the electrical wires (live, ground, neutral) to the adapter and then secure the adapter to the disposal unit.
- Paratoi Gwifrau: Identify the Romex or BX cable coming from the wall. The live wire is typically black, ground is green or bare, and neutral is white.
- Cysylltu Gwifrau: Match the cable wire colors to the corresponding colors noted on the hardwire adapter. Insert and push to lock each wire securely.
- Addasydd Diogel: Bend the connector 90 degrees and snap it onto the terminal plate cover.
- Attach to Disposal: Insert the EZ Connect terminal plate cover into the cutout on the bottom of the disposal. Push it forward to connect power and tighten the screw to secure.
4.3. Lift & Latch Technology
The Lift & Latch technology simplifies the sink connection process, allowing for hassle-free installation of the disposal unit to the sink flange.

4.4. EZ Removable Dishwasher Inlet Plug
If connecting a dishwasher, the inlet plug can be easily removed using the included wrenchette. This feature simplifies the plumbing connection for dishwashers.
