4.1 LATCH Installation

1. Locate the lower LATCH anchors in your vehicle.
2. Extend the self-retracting one-click LATCH connectors from the car seat base.

3. Attach the LATCH connectors to your vehicle's lower anchors. Ensure you hear a click, indicating a secure connection.

4. Push down firmly on the car seat base to remove any slack from the LATCH strap.
5. Check the red-to-green tightness indicators on the base. The indicator should turn completely green when the base is securely installed.

6. Test the installation by pulling on the base at the belt path. It should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back.
