The Nikon FM-10 camera requires two LR44 (or A76/S76) 1.5-volt alkaline batteries for its light metering system. The camera functions mechanically without batteries, but the light meter will not operate. The battery compartment is typically located on the bottom of the camera body.

The camera comes with a Nikon 35-70mm f/3.5-4.8 zoom lens. To attach the lens:

  1. Lift and rotate the outer ring of the shutter speed dial to align the ISO value of your film with the index mark.
  2. The FM-10 supports ISO settings from 25 to 3200.

5. Shutter Speed and Aperture

  • Cyflymder caead: Controlled by the dial on the top of the camera. Available speeds range from 1/2000 second to 1 second, plus 'B' (Bulb) for longer exposures.
