  2. Ensure all components are present: the cleaner unit, Easy-Charge Station, and manual retrieval hook.

  1. Download the iAquaLink app from your device's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).
  2. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your Polaris Freedom cleaner with your smartphone via Wi-Fi.

4. Maintenance and Retrieval

Upon completion of a cleaning cycle, the Polaris Freedom cleaner offers two convenient retrieval methods:

  • Waterline Retrieval (Tap & Lift): The cleaner is designed to automatically climb to the waterline at the end of its cycle. You can then gently tap the cleaner lid with a pool pole. It will drive to the waterline, allowing for easy, lightweight removal as water quickly evacuates.
  • Manual Retrieval Hook: If the cleaner is not at the waterline, use the included manual retrieval hook attached to a standard pool pole to lift the cleaner from the pool.

Filter Canister Cleaning

Regular cleaning of the filter canister is essential for maintaining optimal cleaning performance.

  1. After each cleaning cycle, remove the cleaner from the pool.
  2. Open the cleaner's lid to access the filter canister.
  3. Remove the filter canister and empty any collected debris.
  4. Rinse the filter canister thoroughly with a garden hose until all debris and fine particles are removed.
  5. Reinsert the clean filter canister into the cleaner and close the lid securely.
