The NEEWER RT-08 2.4G Remote Control is designed to provide enhanced wireless control for NEEWER Motorized Camera Sliders. This upgraded remote offers compatibility with both older generation (VS-80WC/VS-100WC) and newer generation (ER1-120/100/80) sliders, enabling precise control over video recording and time-lapse photography functions. Its ergonomic design and rechargeable battery ensure convenience and reliability for professional and amateur photographers alike.

3.2 Pairing with NEEWER Motorized Camera Sliders

The RT-08 remote can be paired with different NEEWER motorized camera sliders. The pairing process varies slightly depending on your slider model.

3.2.1 Pairing with APP Controlled Sliders (ER1-120, ER1-100, ER1-80) and Newest 2.4G Sliders (VS-80WC/VS-100WC)

No firmware upgrade is required for these models. Follow these steps:

1. On the RT-08 remote, long press the Allwedd ymlaen/i ffwrdd a'r Allwedd camera yr un pryd.
2. Turn on the motor switch of your camera slider.
3. Observe the indicator light on the slider; it should flash rapidly in red and green.
4. Once the indicator light stops flashing and pairing is confirmed on the remote's screen, the pairing is complete.

3.2.2 Upgrading Older Generation 2.4G Sliders (VS-80WC/VS-100WC) for Remote Use

For older versions of the VS-80WC/VS-100WC sliders, a firmware update is required before pairing with the RT-08 remote. Please refer to the official NEEWER website for detailed instructions and to download the necessary firmware:

• Select "NEEWER 2.4G Wireless Motorized Camera Slider VS-80WC/VS-100WC" to download the firmware.
