Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly, operation, or maintenance to ensure proper usage and prevent injury. This product is designed to provide a stable, enclosed work platform for various tasks, meeting or exceeding OSHA and ANSI standards for Type IAA (375 lbs) ladders.

4. Gosod
Follow these steps to safely set up your Safety Cage ladder:
- Yn datblygu: Place the folded ladder on a flat surface. Carefully extend the sections until the ladder is fully open and locked into the A-frame position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.
- Deploying Outriggers (if applicable): If your model includes adjustable outriggers, extend them fully and lock them into position to maximize the base width for enhanced stability.
- Caster Wheel Engagement: If you need to move the ladder while deployed, ensure the caster wheels are unlocked. For climbing, always lock the caster wheels to prevent unintended movement.

- Esgynnol: Face the ladder and maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) at all times while climbing. Use the rungs, not the side rails, for climbing.
- Working on Platform: Once on the platform, ensure you are centered and balanced. The enclosed design allows for hands-free work. Do not lean excessively outside the enclosure.
- Disgyn: Face the ladder and maintain three points of contact. Listen and feel for the Ground Cue® 'click' as you reach the bottom rung, indicating you are safely at ground level.
- Moving the Ladder: For short distances, with the caster wheels unlocked, you can roll the ladder while deployed. For longer distances or transport, fold the ladder and use the Tip & Glide™ wheels.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your ladder:
- Glanhau: Clean fiberglass rails with a mild detergent and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the material.
- Iro: Periodically lubricate moving parts, such as hinges and locking mechanisms, with a silicone-based lubricant.
- Storio: Store the ladder in a dry, protected area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The compact folding capability makes storage easy.
- Difrod: If any part of the ladder becomes damaged, bent, or broken, discontinue use immediately and contact Little Giant Ladder Systems for replacement parts or professional repair.
7. Datrys Problemau
If you encounter issues with your Safety Cage ladder, consider the following:
- Ladder feels unstable: Ensure the ladder is on a firm, level surface. Verify that all locking mechanisms are fully engaged and, if applicable, outriggers are extended and locked. Check that caster wheels are locked when climbing.
- Anhawster plygu/datblygu: Check for any obstructions or debris in the hinge mechanisms. Ensure all previous locks are disengaged before attempting to fold or unfold. Do not force the ladder.
- Ground Cue® not clicking: Ensure you are stepping firmly on the lowest rung. If the issue persists, inspect the mechanism for damage or obstruction.
