This fixture is designed for easy installation into existing 6-inch recessed can housings. It is a remodel-type installation.

1. Ensure the downlight is currently on in its standard mode.
2. Quickly turn the wall switch OFF and then back ON again.
3. The fixture will now illuminate with the amber nightlight.

To return to standard downlight mode, repeat the OFF-ON toggle of the wall switch.
