1. Attaching the FTZ Mount Adapter
The FTZ Mount Adapter allows you to use a wide array of NIKKOR F-mount lenses with your Z-mount camera. To attach the adapter:

2. Inserting Battery and Memory Cards
The Nikon Z5 uses a Lithium-Ion battery and supports dual SD card slots for flexible storage. To insert them:
- Open the battery chamber cover on the bottom of the camera and insert the battery with the correct orientation.
- Open the memory card slot cover on the side of the camera.
- Insert SD cards into both slots until they click into place. The camera supports UHS Speed Class 3 or higher cards.
