Extend the pole upwards until its top fits securely into the apex of the tent. This will raise the tent into its teepee shape.
- Stake Down the Base: Once the tent is standing, walk around the perimeter and locate the staking loops at the base of the tent. Use the provided ground stakes to firmly secure each loop to the ground. Ensure the tent base is taut and evenly stretched.
- Attach and Secure Guy Ropes: Locate the attachment points for the guy ropes on the tent's exterior. Attach the guy ropes and extend them outwards at an angle (approximately 45 degrees from the tent wall). Secure each guy rope with a ground stake, adjusting the tensioners to make the tent taut and stable. This is crucial for wind resistance.
- Adjust and Inspect: Step back and inspect the tent from all angles. Ensure it is taut, stable, and all stakes and guy ropes are securely fastened. Adjust as necessary.

Datrys problemau
| Problem | Achos Posibl | Ateb |
|---|---|---|
| Mae'r babell yn ansefydlog neu'n siglo yn y gwynt. | Improperly secured stakes or guy ropes; insufficient tension. | Ensure all 16 ground stakes are fully inserted and taut. Secure all 8 guy ropes and adjust tensioners to make the tent firm. Consider purchasing stronger, aftermarket stakes for very soft ground or high winds. |
| Water pooling inside the tent. | Tent not properly pitched; heavy rain exceeding water resistance; windows/doors not fully closed. | Ensure the tent is pitched on level ground with good drainage. Verify all zippers on doors and windows are completely closed. While the tent has 2000mm+ water resistance, it is not designed for extreme downpours. In heavy rain, ensure guy lines are taut to shed water effectively. |
| Poor airflow or stuffiness inside. | Windows or vents are closed; lack of cross-ventilation. | Open multiple mesh windows and the top mesh vents to create cross-ventilation. Ensure the tent is not pitched in a completely sheltered area that blocks natural airflow. |
| Difficulty inserting center pole. | Tent fabric not fully spread out; pole sections not fully connected. | Ensure the tent floor is completely flat and stretched before attempting to raise the pole. Verify all pole sections are securely locked together. Having a second person to hold the tent fabric can assist. |
