1. Remove all packaging materials and inspect the unit for any damage.
2. Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
3. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported horizontally. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

The Hicon Ice Maker offers two methods for water supply:

The left side shows automatic water addition using a 5-gallon bottle. The right side shows manual water addition by pouring water into the reservoir.

1. Automatic Water Supply (using a water bottle): Place a standard 2, 3, or 5-gallon water bottle onto the top dispenser opening. Ensure the bottle is securely seated.
2. Cyflenwad Dŵr â Llaw: Open the top lid and pour potable water directly into the water reservoir until it reaches the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.

Nodyn: The melted ice water is recycled back into the reservoir for subsequent ice production cycles.

Cyfarwyddiadau Gweithredu

1. Pŵer Ymlaen: Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the YMLAEN / I FFWRDD button on the control panel to start the unit.
2. Dewiswch Maint Iâ: Gwasgwch y ICE CUBE SIZE SELECTION button repeatedly to cycle through the available ice sizes: Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
3. Cynhyrchu Iâ: The unit will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take 6-10 minutes. Subsequent batches will be produced continuously.
4. Dangosydd Llawn Iâ: Pan fydd y fasged iâ yn llawn, y ICE LLAWN indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will pause ice production. Remove ice to resume operation.
5. Shor Dŵrtage Dangosydd: Os yw'r gronfa ddŵr yn isel, y SHOR DWRTAGE indicator light will illuminate. Add more water using either the automatic or manual method.
6. Dispense Cold Water: To dispense cold water, place a glass under the cold water tap and press the DWR button. The water nozzle can be extended and retracted.
7. Pwer i ffwrdd: Gwasgwch y YMLAEN / I FFWRDD botwm i ddiffodd y teclyn.

Nodyn: The ice produced can remain in the basket for approximately 1-2 hours if the machine is turned off, but it is not a freezer and ice will eventually melt.

Glanhau

1. Cyn glanhau: Always unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
2. Glanhau Mewnol: Remove the ice basket. Clean the interior of the water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth dampwedi'i olchi â thoddiant glanedydd ysgafn. Rinsiwch yn drylwyr â dŵr glân.
3. Glanhau Allanol: Sychwch yr wyneb allanol gyda lliain meddal, damp brethyn. Peidiwch â defnyddio glanhawyr neu doddyddion sgraffiniol.
4. Draenio: Periodically drain any remaining water from the reservoir using the drain plug located at the bottom or back of the unit (refer to specific model for exact location).

Storio

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water, clean the unit, and allow it to dry completely before storing in a cool, dry place.
