2.1 Gosod Batri

Ensure proper battery insertion for both the main unit and remote sensors.

  • Prif Uned: Requires 3 x 1.5V AAA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert the batteries, observing polarity.
  • Synwyryddion Anghysbell: Each sensor requires 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote sensor and insert the batteries, observing polarity.

2.2 Paru Synwyryddion

The main unit and remote sensors should automatically pair once batteries are installed. If a sensor does not connect, ensure it is within range and re-insert its batteries to initiate re-pairing.

For accurate outdoor temperature readings, ensure remote sensors are mounted in a shaded area, preferably on a north-facing wall, to avoid direct sunlight affecting readings.

    A: Allow up to one hour for sensors to stabilize due to signal filtering. Indoor and outdoor temperature sensors should agree within 2°C (sensor accuracy is ±1°C). If discrepancies persist, use a known accurate source to calibrate if your model supports it, or re-pair sensors.
  3. Q: Display console contrast is weak.
    A: Replace the console batteries with a new set of fresh batteries.
  4. Q: Remote sensor not displaying data.
    A: Check if the sensor is within the maximum transmission range (up to 100m/328ft in open air). Ensure there are no significant obstructions (e.g., thick concrete walls). Re-insert batteries in the remote sensor and the main unit to force re-pairing.
