The NEC DT300 Series DTL-8LD-1 Office Phone consists of a main base unit, a handset, and a coiled handset cord. The base unit features a numeric keypad, dedicated function buttons, programmable line keys, soft keys, and two backlit LCD screens for displaying call information and menu options. 4.5 Using Soft Keys

The 4 soft keys (Help, Exit, and two context-sensitive keys) located below the LCD screens change their function based on the current menu or call state. The labels for these functions will appear on the lower LCD screen directly above the keys.

The two 168 x 55 dot matrix backlit LCDs display call information, menus, and line status. Use the cursor keys (up, down, left, right) to navigate through menu options and lists. The scroll key allows you to cycle through the four pages of eight lines displayed by the DESI-less line keys.

When an incoming call is received, the caller's information (if available) will be displayed on the LCD screen.

4.8 Basic Conference Call

The phone is designed for multi-line operation, allowing you to manage multiple calls simultaneously. Use the line keys to switch between active calls, place calls on hold, or initiate new calls on different lines.

  • Ensure the phone is properly connected to the telephone line or external power source.
  • Check for any system-wide power outages if multiple devices are affected.

6.3 Poor Call Quality
