- Loosen the locking mechanism on the auxiliary handle.
- Slide the auxiliary handle onto the main shaft to your desired working position.
- Tighten the locking mechanism to secure the handle.
4.2 Installing the Brush
The GFR 401 features a tool-free brush change system.

- Insert the desired brush (nylon or metal) onto the spindle until it clicks into place.
- Release the quick-release system to secure the brush. Gently pull on the brush to ensure it is firmly seated.
4.3 Adjusting Working Height
The aluminum tube is height-adjustable from 89 cm to 114 cm to allow comfortable working in an upright posture.
- Loosen the locking collar on the main shaft.
- Extend or retract the shaft to your preferred working height.
- Tighten the locking collar securely.

- Connect the device to a suitable power outlet, ensuring the cable is managed safely using the strain relief.
5.2 Starting and Using the Device

- Hold the main handle and the auxiliary handle firmly.
- Press the safety switch (if present) and then the trigger to start the motor.
- Guide the device along the joints, allowing the guide wheel to assist in maintaining a straight line.
- Apply gentle, even pressure. Do not force the brush into the joints.
- Move the device slowly and steadily to ensure thorough cleaning.
- To stop the device, release the trigger.
