- Ensure the scale is powered on and displays "0.00" or a stable zero reading. If not, press the ZERO botwm.
- Carefully place the item to be weighed onto the center of the stainless steel weighing pan.
- Wait for the reading on the display to stabilize. The displayed value represents the weight of the item.
- Remove the item from the pan. The display should return to zero.

To weigh an item in a container, use the Tare function:

- Place the item to be weighed into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the item.
