Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Ensure all protective tapes and packing materials are removed from the exterior and interior of the printer. Place the printer on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for paper trays and ventilation. Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a wall outlet.

Open the ink cartridge access door. Wait for the print carriage to move to the center. Remove the new ink cartridges from their packaging. Insert the black cartridge into the right slot and the tri-color cartridge into the left slot until they click into place. Close the ink cartridge access door.

Pull out the main input tray. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size. Load a stack of plain white paper into the tray, ensuring it is aligned properly. Push the input tray back into the printer until it locks into place. The printer's touchscreen will prompt you to confirm the paper type and size.

On the printer's touchscreen, navigate to the Wireless Setup Wizard. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the network password. Once connected, the wireless indicator light on the printer will turn solid blue. You can now print wirelessly from your devices.
