- Locate a Wood Stud: Use a stud finder to locate the center of a wood stud at your desired mounting height. Mark the center of the stud with a pencil.
- Position the Wall Plate: Hold the wall plate assembly against the wall, aligning the center hole with your marked stud center. Use a level to ensure the mount is perfectly horizontal. Mark the two mounting holes.
- Tyllau Peilot Drilio: Using a drill with a 5/32" (4mm) drill bit, drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Drill to a depth of approximately 2.5 inches (65mm).
- Atodwch y Plât Wal: Secure the wall plate assembly to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten the bolts firmly with a socket wrench, but do not overtighten.
- Attach TV Plate to TV: Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA pattern. Attach the TV plate assembly to the back of your TV. Ensure the plate is centered and securely fastened.
- Mount TV to Wall Plate: With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached TV plate. Align the TV plate with the wall plate assembly and slide it into place. Ensure the TV plate is securely seated on the wall plate.

The mount allows for a tilt range of up to 30 degrees total (15 degrees up and 15 degrees down). To adjust the tilt, loosen the easy-grip tilt locking knob located on the mount. Adjust the TV to your desired vertical angle, then firmly tighten the knob to secure the position.

The mount allows for left and right swivel of up to 60 degrees total. Gently push or pull the TV to the desired horizontal angle. The articulating arm will allow smooth movement. No locking mechanism is typically needed for swivel, as the friction holds the position.
Extension and Retraction
The mount can extend your TV up to 6 inches from the wall and retract to a minimum distance of 3.25 inches from the wall. To adjust the distance, gently pull the TV away from the wall or push it back towards the wall. The articulating arm will move smoothly.
