1. Unfolding the Reflector: Carefully remove the reflector from its carrying bag. The spring-loaded frame will cause it to expand rapidly. Ensure you have enough clear space around you when unfolding.
2. Attaching/Changing Reflective Covers: The reflector includes a reversible zippered cover that provides four additional surfaces (silver, gold, white, black). The translucent diffuser is the core panel. To change surfaces:
• Locate the zipper along the edge of the cover.
• Unzip the cover completely to remove it from the translucent diffuser.
• To use a different surface, simply flip the cover to the desired side and re-zip it around the translucent diffuser.

Operating the Reflector

Each of the five surfaces serves a unique purpose in light modification:

• Tryleu: Used as a diffuser. Place it between the light source (e.g., sun, studio light) and your subject to soften harsh light and reduce shadows, creating a more even and flattering illumination.
• Arian: Highly reflective. Use this surface to bounce light back onto your subject, increasing brightness and contrast. It produces a cool, crisp light, ideal for product photography or adding sparkle to eyes.
• Aur: Adds a warm tone to the light. This is excellent for portraits, especially outdoors, to simulate golden hour lighting or to add warmth to skin tones.
• Gwyn: Provides a soft, neutral fill light. It's less reflective than silver or gold, offering a subtle way to brighten shadows without altering the color temperature of the main light.
• Du: Used to subtract or block light. Position the black surface to absorb unwanted reflections or to create deeper shadows and more dramatic lighting.
