The RF-2400D can be powered by either an AC power cord or four AA batteries.

- Ensure the radio is switched OFF.
- Insert the included AC power supply cord into the AC IN jack located on the side of the radio.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).

For portable use, the radio requires four (4) AA (LR6/R6) batteries (not included).

Nodyn: When the AC power cord is connected, the radio will automatically draw power from the AC outlet, even if batteries are installed. Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Turning On/Off and Band Selection
- To turn the radio ON, slide the BAND selector switch (located on the top right of the radio) to either FM or AM.
- To turn the radio OFF, slide the BAND selector switch to the ODDI AR sefyllfa.

- Select the desired band (FM or AM) using the BAND switsh dewiswr.
- For FM reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully and adjust its angle for best reception. For AM reception, the radio uses a built-in ferrite antenna, so no external antenna adjustment is needed.
- Cylchdroi y DYNIO knob (large knob on the right side of the radio) to scan through frequencies.
- Observe the frequency dial and the TUNING OFF / BAND indicator light. The light will illuminate brightly when a station is tuned in clearly.
- Addaswch y CYFROL knob (smaller knob below the tuning knob) to your desired listening level.
Awgrym: The Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) feature helps to stabilize FM reception and reduce drift, making tuning easier.

For private listening, plug any headphones with a 3.5mm jack into the Clustffon jack located on the side of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
